ABOUT WOMEN OF WORTH
More Than a Program.
A Pathway Forward.
OUR STORY
Built on Belief in People
Women of Worth was founded on the belief that education, opportunity, and support can transform lives.
What began as a literacy-focused initiative has grown into a workforce development and empowerment organization dedicated to helping individuals move forward with confidence and purpose.
We understand that many individuals face barriers that extend beyond education alone. That’s why our mission goes beyond testing and training — we focus on equipping the whole person with the tools, support, and encouragement needed to pursue lasting growth.
To empower individuals through education, workforce development, and transformational support — guiding them along their pathway to purpose.

Every person who walks through our doors is met with respect, care, and a genuine commitment to their growth.
MEET OUR FOUNDER
Renee Spivey
A Mission Born from Experience. Driven by Purpose.
Women of Worth was founded on a simple belief: every person deserves the opportunity to build a better future.
For many individuals, barriers such as limited education, unemployment, lack of resources, and difficult life circumstances can make that future feel out of reach. We believe those barriers should never define a person’s potential.
Our founder, Renee Spivey, understands firsthand what it means to face obstacles, overcome setbacks, and rebuild with determination. Her journey taught her that transformation is possible when people are given access to opportunity, encouragement, and support.
What began as a passion for helping others has grown into a mission dedicated to empowering individuals through education, workforce development, career readiness, digital literacy, and life-changing support services.
For more than two decades, Renee has demonstrated that a person’s past does not determine their future. Through perseverance, faith, and a commitment to lifelong growth, she built a successful career, earned a college degree, became an author, and dedicated her life to helping others discover their own potential.
That experience became the foundation for Women of Worth.
Since 2017, Women of Worth has worked to equip individuals with the tools, confidence, and resources needed to pursue meaningful goals and create lasting change. Whether someone is preparing for employment, building new skills, pursuing education, or overcoming personal challenges, our mission remains the same: to meet people where they are and help them move forward.
At Women of Worth, we believe transformation happens when education is paired with support, opportunity is paired with encouragement, and every individual is treated with dignity and respect.
Our story is ultimately about hope.
It is the belief that no matter where someone starts, their future can be greater than their past.
And that every person is worthy of the opportunity to succeed.
OUR VISION
A Transformational Hub for Growth
We envision a future where Women of Worth serves as a transformational hub for workforce development, digital education, and personal growth.
Through initiatives like The Elevation Academy, we are expanding our reach to serve individuals both locally and online — helping more people gain access to the tools and opportunities needed to move forward.
